COVID Policies and Procedures

Updated (August 24, 2022)

Masks/Facial Coverings:

As of now, face masks are OPTIONAL for all dancers, parents and staff.

Health Monitoring:

Students must take temperature before coming to the studio. If they are displaying symptoms that could be attributed to COVID-19 (cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, unusual headache, unexplained muscle or joint pain, chills, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of smell, pink eye, fever, etc.) they are asked to stay home and take advantage of our make-up class policy. If a dancer becomes ill during class the parent will be called immediately and asked to pick her/him up ASAP.

Studio Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedure:

Please do not arrive for class more than 5-10 minutes before the start of class. Parents are encouraged to drop-off/pick-up, and not linger in hallways or waiting areas, so that we have more space for our students.

All dancers must check in at our attendance desk before entering their classrooms.

Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures Daily and Between Classes:Hand Sanitizer will be provided in every room, bathroom and hallway.  Medical grade HEPA Purifiers have been purchased for each studio, waiting area, and hallway.  Daily cleaning/disinfecting of studios, bathrooms, lobbies, and other high touch areas will continue.

SAFETY is our priority for all of our staff and students.  We will continue to monitor guidance from the Governor, CDC, and the Needham Board of Health, and will adjust our policies as needed

2024-2025 Waiver/Studio Policies

(Updated May 9, 2024)

Tuition

I understand that the tuition rates for the 2024-2025 season are as indicated on the Total Eclipse Dance Studio website: https://www.totaleclipsedance.com/pricing

I understand that there are no tuition refunds for classes. This includes classes your dancer is scheduled to attend but is absent from, classes that are canceled due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances such as a health crisis/pandemic, and any class(es) that your dancer does not participate in due to injury, illness, or any other condition. I understand that there are no refunds for registration fees, costumes fees (including deposits/balance), performance tickets, recital fees, or rehearsal fees. Tuition is due in two installments as per the dates indicated in the current season calendar. If your payment is not received within 14 days of its due date, you will be charged an additional $35 per month that the balance remains unpaid. Any exceptions to the refund rule can only be made by the Directors of Total Eclipse Dance Studio:  Gemma Joyce and Alicia Santamaria.

I understand that dancers and families will not be able to enroll in classes, attend classes, or participate in any performances, if there is an outstanding balance on their account. This includes outstanding payments from previous dance seasons.

Up to three (3) missed classes may be made up within the current dance season, by attending classes recommended by the studio directors. After February vacation, make-ups are only permitted in classes that are not immersed in choreography for the spring recital. Make-ups may not be used for summer classes, or transferred to siblings.

Withdrawal Policy

Tuition is not refundable. Through October 13th, a refund may be issued. Beginning on October 14th, a credit may be issued and can be used for classes within the current or upcoming dance studio season: Full credit for the current season; 50% credit for the subsequent season. All credits expire after the subsequent season. Tuition credits may only be used for the same dancer, not transferable to siblings/family members.  Tuition credits may not be used for summer classes/programs. Withdrawals must be communicated to Total Eclipse Dance Studio in writing via email. If after one month no written communication has been made, no credit will be issued except in the case of injury (a doctor's note must be provided.) Credits may not be used toward registration fees, costumes deposits/balances, recital fees, competition fees, or performance tickets, all of which are non-refundable and will not be credited regardless of withdrawal date. No credit will be issued for withdrawals after March 1.
